Hiring a professional mixing engineer is the absolute best way to improve your sound. How does it work?

You send us the tracks to mix along with a general or specific direction you want us to go in. We will provide you with a mixdown with a turnaround time of 2-3 days per song. You donwload the track via our secure server and review the song for possible revissions.

How do I send you my files for mixing?

The best way to send us your multi-track session files is to send the individual tracks in WAV or AIFF format (don't change the sample rate or bit rate), all the tracks should be consolidated from the starting point of the session, meaning every track has the same total length. Make sure each file is named correctly (e.g. Main Vocal, Kick drum, Bass, etc.) Any processing such as compression, reverb, or EQ should be removed from the tracks and sent dry. However, if you feel the effects are essential to the intended sound then by all means leave them on and send the dry track as well. In addition, you may want to send along some ideas on how you'd like the songs to sound, this will cut down the number of revisions required in the end.

Revisions

Once you've downloaded and listened to your mixdown, there may be a few things you want to change about it. Simply call or email us with your change requests and we implement those changes and send you another updated mix. Again you download and listen, and if needed, you can request more changes. We will continue to provide revisions until you are fully satisfied with the final mix.
